This weekend I had the pleasure of participating along with several of the hivers of the Cuban community (cuhivers as we like to call each other) in the inauguration of an event about women creators, which is being held in the Diversity Room. It is an exhibition to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, a date celebrated on November 25. This exhibition shows the creations of many women in our community such as: handicrafts, photographs, publications and even a sample of yoga exercises.

The Diversity Hall is located in Old Havana, on Amargura Street and is part of the Historical Center, which is a space dedicated to protecting the cultural and historical heritage of the city and one of the most beautiful and visited sites in the capital.

This was a very special moment in which we enjoyed the opportunity to meet up and share with each other. The exhibition, although dedicated to women also had the presence of several of the guys from HiveCuba, so we were a large group of friends. And as in any meeting among friends, you can never miss a toast with a tasty Cuban coffee, as we did with this delicious Turquino Gourmet, courtesy of the friend @lileisabel.

Turquino Gourmet is one of the best brands of coffee on the island, grown on the slopes of Pico Turquino, one of the highest mountains in Cuba. It is planted and harvested by hand and no fertilizers are used. It possesses a delicious flavor and a strong, rich aroma - very tasty! ☕

Getting together among friends to chat over coffee is customary in Cuba (and I'm sure in many places as well). The best thing is the pleasant conversation that is always created. The get-together that accompanies coffee always brings laughter and good times.

It was a very nice afternoon, we all felt very comfortable enjoying the place and the company. This exhibition of creative women will be present throughout the week and will undoubtedly be visited by many people. I really enjoyed participating and having had the opportunity to share this moment with such talented people.
